The end of summer lends itself to a hearty array of Nature's bounty to keep us fed and healthy during the often barren months of fall and winter. This is especially true of many of our immune boosting, Vitamin & mineral rich herbs....be it wild, or cultivated.
In this workshop we will focus on identifying a handful of powerful local wild herbs high in Vitamin C and flavinoids (as well as so many more nutrients!), what these terms mean and how they apply to us and the herbs, how to properly use and process them for preventative care, when staving off illness, or for support of our general body processes.
We will also share a bit about these wonderful plants, some immune boosting herbal recipes, and as always...while sipping a fresh herbal tea:)
Please join us at 5 mile (near the bathrooms & bridge) on Sept. 27 from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Bring a container for tea, a notebook & pen. Family friendly, as always. Donations are kindly appreciated.
Hope to see you there!
